1746ba18c2 feat(ui): add tombstone card icons, nav bar, and about page 
Replace plain text cards with tombstone background images that swap
from gray to green on hover. Add header navigation with About,
Contribute, and Contact links. Create about page with site description.
Simplify header layout and improve text styling for card names.

e2a1b469ea fix(ui): harden memorial data handling and search input 
Use input event instead of keyup for search filtering to capture all
input methods. Add safeUrl helper to validate URLs against http/https
before DOM injection. Replace loose empty-string checks on array fields
with Array.isArray guards to prevent null/undefined throws.

9f67fadfac feat(ui): modernize site design with dark theme and card layout 
Replace the original light theme with a dark green-toned design using
Inter and IBM Plex Mono fonts. Refactor index.html from a sidebar list
to a searchable card grid. Restructure memorial.html with a two-column
grid layout and sticky sidebar. Update footer copyright text to clarify
memorial content belongs to its respective creators and rights holders.

6c4f1221ae chore(data): normalize all people JSON files to match template schema 
Add missing obituary and affiliations fields, convert empty string
collection fields to empty arrays, and standardize field ordering
across all 44 modified person files to match _template.json

Add issue processing automation - Phase 1 complete 
Create comprehensive automation system for processing GitHub Issues
to generate memorial JSON files.

Phase 1 deliverables:
- Core Python script with issue fetching and parsing
- Configuration system with YAML support
- GitHub Issue template parser (handles * and - bullets)
- Person data extraction and normalization
- Filename generation logic
- Memorial JSON generator
- Dry-run mode with explicit CLI flags
- Comprehensive project documentation in devdocs/

Documentation includes:
- Architecture and component design
- Implementation phases and roadmap
- Data mapping from issues to JSON
- Testing checklist
- High-priority person list
- Progress tracker

Testing:
- Verified on issue 197 (Kevin Mitnick)
- Verified on issue 251 (Kris Nova)
- All tests run in safe dry-run mode

- Update .ruby-version to 3.3.10
- Update all gem dependencies via bundle update
  - github-pages: 228 → 232
  - Jekyll: 3.9.3 → 3.10.0
  - Updated 50+ dependencies for Ruby 3.3 compatibility
- Fix Rakefile build task for Jekyll 3.10.0 compatibility
  - Jekyll now requires explicit subcommand (e.g., 'build')

Verification completed:
- bundle install: All dependencies resolve cleanly
- bundle exec jekyll build: Site builds successfully
- bundle exec jekyll serve: Server runs without errors
- rake build: Build task works correctly
- rake server: Server task works correctly
- Manual testing: Homepage and memorial pages load properly
